מעבדת ביתמונה עוסקת בשחזור, שימור והצלה של חומרים חזותיים
הקשורים לעברה של ארץ ישראל.
פעולה זו נעשיית באמצעים ממוחשבים. במעבדה מצויים אוספים גדולים
מאוד של קבצי מחשב אשר מאחוריהם שעות רבות של סריקת אוספי
תמונות , תצלומים, מפות ומסמכים מכל רחבי הארץ אצל אנשים פרטיים
ארכיונים וגורמים ציבוריים אחרים.
בקרוב יעלה כל החומר במסד הנתונים של אוניברסיטת חיפה ויהיה פתוח
לציבור עם מערכת חיפוש "אלף". אנו מפרסמים מדור שבועי קבוע באתר
Ynet עם כתבות מצילומי א"י המצויים במעבדה .
אם ברשותך חומרים-אוספים מסוג זה והנך מוכן לתת להם פרסום, צור
עמנו קשר! אנו נסרוק את החומר, ללא עלויות, עבורך ועבור פרסומו בציבור.
בכל פרסום יוזכר מקור האוסף וניתן גם להקדישו ע"פ רצונך.

“Bitmuna Lab” is a business which restores, collects and saves visual materials involving Israel and its history.
The restorations are carried out with computer aids. The lab has in its hold large collections of files, behind which stands many hours
of pictures, photos, maps and document scanning. The material was gathered from around the country, from private collections,
archives and other public resources.
Soon all the material will be gathered in Haifa University’s database, and will be open for public using the “Alef” system.
We are publishing a weekly column which includes nostalgic photos of Israel in the web site Ynet .
If you have in your hold material pertaining the above, and you are willing that it will be published, please contact us!
We will scan the material, free of charge, for you and for the public. All the material includes information about the source,
and can include additional personal dedications.
This site exhibits some of the collections we have, and allows ordering of collections or print-outs of specific photos.
We will be more than happy to publish any responses or stories related to the material that can enlarge Israel’s history knowledge.
